Dr. Aleem is a experienced behavioral  health provider in the Baltimore and Washington DC Metropolitan Areas. Dr. Aleem earned a doctoral degree in Organization Behavior from University of Delhi and a Masters in Social Work from Catholic University of America.

Dr. Aleem has a unique background in a range of clinical and management resource services. She is an independently licensed and certified mental health and Organization Management professional. She has played a key role in policy development, mental health administration, health management and clinical practice in Maryland  for over 20 years.

Dr. Aleem has a keen interest in multicultural counseling and trauma treatment. She has expertise in psychotherapy with families, children, and adults. Dr. Aleem has led self help and support groups.

Dr. Aleem has worked with District of Columbia Government agencies in mental health, juvenile justice, violence prevention, school and adolescent health, and public health. She served on the Mental Health Advisory Council for Baltimore County and is a certified trainer in assessment and treatment of Substance Use Disorders. Dr. Aleem is a trainer in several evidence-based trauma treatment models including TFCBT, AFCBT, SPARCS, and MRT.
